Summer Camp 2019
We go beyond the traditional summer camp and lesson programs as we teach all aspects of care, riding and working with horses.
Safety is our #1 priority for both rider and horse. Education cultivates safety. We teach all aspects of horse care and how to work with horses fostering a relationship that flourishes under saddle. Lessons 'on the ground' are just as fast-paced and interesting as lessons in the saddle.
From the beginning, students learn how subtle and gentle the cues need to be to get the correct response from the horse. When to patiently persist with the horse and when the horse is giving their best effort and deserves gushing praise. Also learning how to correctly attain and keep the position of leader with the horse.

Just like our riding and training programs, our summer sessions are unique.
This camp is for our existing riders, who are already riding with us or have been riding a minimum of 1 consistent year of lessons.
Our riders even at this age do more than the normal riding lesson. We teach the children how to do everything with amazing horses who have experience with children.
This week long opportunity is for children to learn the foundation to leasing and owning their own horse. This includes: feeding, grooming, tacking, tack care, mucking stalls, and more. Groundwork with horses as well as riding.
Our horses know what is expected of them and they thrive in our lesson program.
Based on the ages of the students (maximum group of 4 per week) each week. Campers will be matched up on Monday with their horse for the week. Students are paired up to work as a team with certain horse related projects.
Students are closely supervised by a Massachusetts licensed riding instructor and my team of working students who have personally ridden and trained with me for a minimum of 1 year. Teaching in a consistent manner so everyone gets the full benefit of the lessons exactly the same way and no one is 'left out'.
This is a camp for those that are interested in accelerating their riding quickly. Also for those looking to begin showing at local New England horse shows.
For an additional fee we offer an e-photo gallery of your child and their horse to remember their week at camp with us.
$720/week
$690 for 2 or more weeks
